Privacy Policy
The Takasaki Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "the Foundation") believes that the protection of personal information is an essential social responsibility imposed on public interest corporations and an indispensable requirement for the Foundation to carry out various activities under the trust of society. Therefore, the Foundation complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related laws and regulations to protect your personal information in accordance with the policy stated below.
1. Acquisition and scope of the collection of personal information
When acquiring personal information, the Foundation shall specify the purpose for which the information is to be used and shall acquire only the necessary range of information in a lawful and fair manner.
2. Use of personal information
The Foundation shall use personal information within the scope of the purpose of use specified at the time of acquisition of such information.
3. Management of personal information
In handling the personal information entrusted to us, the Foundation shall take necessary measures to properly manage the personal information to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage.
4. Supervision of subcontractors
When the Foundation entrusts personal information to a subcontractor within the scope necessary for the achievement of legitimate purposes of use, the Foundation shall exercise appropriate supervision by contractually obligating the subcontractor to prevent leakage, outflow, or unauthorized use of information.
5. Disclosure and provision to third parties
The Foundation shall not disclose or provide personal information entrusted to the Foundation to any third party, except with the consent of the individual concerned or as permitted by law.
6. Disclosure, correction, deletion, etc. of personal information
The Foundation shall disclose, correct, delete, etc., registered information upon request from the person whose information has been entrusted to the Foundation, as soon as is reasonably possible.
7. Personal information protection and management initiatives
The Foundation shall establish initiatives for the protection and management of personal information, including the appointment of a personal information manager, and provide training to employees to raise awareness of personal information protection and ensure appropriate handling of personal information.
8. Continuously improving the personal information protection initiatives
The Foundation shall continuously improve its personal information protection initiatives.
